My name is Anna Koscielniak. I am a class of 2014 outside hitter currently playing for the Pflugerville Volleyball Club Association (PVCA), team 171. Even though I am an outside hitter, I played the middle position for PVCA last year due to the needs of the team. I also play varsity volleyball at Hendrickson High School. I received the MVP award on my Freshman team, the Most Improved award for my JV team of 2011-2012 and the Most Improved award for my Varsity team 2012-2013. I have a 3.5 GPA and have received the All Academics award al three years in high School. I am also in the top 10% of my High School class.

I was born and raised in my home town of Pflugerville, Texas. When I was 7 years old, my older brother and I joined 4-H Shooting Sports. I have been shooting competitively my whole life. Last summer, I participated in both the NRA State Championships and NRA National Championships in Pistol Silhouette. I started volleyball when I was 12, and have been hooked ever since. I also enjoy the outdoors, camping and traveling.

I absolutely love playing volleyball. I am a team player and know that a team must have a strong foundation of teamwork, respect, and friendship to become successful. I promote these values and encourage others on my team to do the same. I believe that hard work and staying positive will help you achieve goals you never thought you could achieve. Volleyball is a major part of my life, and I look forward to playing it in my future.
